About Our Firm

Astral Law Group, P.C. was founded by co-managing Partners,

Richard A. Ibarra and Lauren Davidson-Ibarra. Lauren and Richard are a thriving husband-and-wife team based in Los Angeles.

Together, they provide unparalleled commitment to achieving the

legal goals of their clients.

Richard A. Ibarra, Esq.

Richard A. Ibarra has been an advocate for criminal justice and immigration reform since his undergraduate days at the University of California-Santa Barbara. He continued his passion for these issues at New York Law School, where he did clinics in Criminal Defense and provided pro-bono services to Spanish-speaking indigent defendants. His impressive talent for public defense work has served him well in adversarial trials against the Government in his practice as an Immigration attorney in Los Angeles. While Richard takes great pride in the attention he gives to every case, he especially loves winning Merits Trials for asylum and refugee clients, for whom those wins mean the opportunity for a new life with restored hope.

Richard now oversees all of Astral Law Group's Immigration-related matters.

Lauren Davidson-Ibarra, Esq.

Growing up working class in an under-served community where no one could afford an attorney to fight injustice, Lauren Davidson-Ibarra dreamt from an early age of being the person that communities like hers, and countless others across the country, needed. A survivor of violent crime diagnosed with PTSD, Lauren was determined to serve and advocate for those who have historically been locked out of access to legal services due to their cost-prohibitive nature. In law school, she worked both for one of the nation's top financial firms as well as for one of the country's leading Veterans Disability Law firms. Lauren learned the intricacies of banking and corporate law necessary for large and small business owners, as well as the complex world of disability claims, legislative drafting, and fighting for individuals against government agencies. Her combined experience in the corporate and disability/non-profit world led to her working in Corporate Cannabis Law in

Los Angeles, where she gained further experience in contract drafting, intellectual property, and licensing/compliance for cannabis & hemp.

Lauren now oversees Astral Law Group's Business/Corporate,  Intellectual Property, Contracts, Landlord-Tenant, and Cannabis/Hemp consulting matters.
